I FINALLY FOUND ME
When I was lost, God found “ME” and it didn’t stop there.
In Jesus name I pray these words may minister to your spirit and inspire you to action. Amen.
A GLASS OF SWEET REFRESHING LEMONADE.
When I was lost, God found “ME” and it didn’t stop there. He then helped me find myself. By His grace I now know who I really am. Through prayer God has pointed out all my rights and while correcting me thoroughly. He turned me inside out, upside down, shook me, stirred me and put everything in divine order. Being an up-close witness of this and paying very good attention as he molded me, it made me see myself through God’s eyes. And WOW what a beautiful sight it is!
Like a butterfly braking free from her cocoon and flying into freedom. The old skin was pealing off and slowly the light fell on the true beauty hidden behind the skin.
God thinks very highly of us. As we dwell in His Kingdom, we are heirs of His royalty, riches, power, wisdom and beauty. Realizing that we are His children suddenly makes this very obvious but we never think of it this way.
Romans 8:16, 17 To be loved and called by God makes you a V I P right there.
They say you can’t love some one if you can’t love yourself. Well I believe there is an exception to that rule. When I didn’t know how to love myself I chose to love God and by loving Him first He taught me how to love me for me. So the way I see it: Love God first so He can show you who you really are and enable you to love yourself for who you are. You will never stop learning but He will bring you to a point where you are spiritually and emotionally grown enough to love someone else with the full potential of love that he or she deserves. Matthews 22:37-39
Loving someone through God, filters out the “need factor”
We all have emotional needs and often we first search for them in people. And when they answer to our emotional need, we start feeling so comfortable and expect them always to be able to fill that gap. We’re satisfied for a moment and think that we’ve found love. But let me be real with you. What you’ve found is a refreshing glass of water on a hot summer day. The only thing is there’s a crack in the glass. Every time you think your glass is filled and you take a sip, you realize the water remained in the glass isn’t enough to quench your thirst. When will we stop trying to fill up a leaking glass? You keep filling but it keeps leaking and then we blame the people around us for not being good enough to meet our needs. When you search for God to fill your glass with water, you will find His water does not only glues the crack but He gives you a bigger glass to add some sugar and lemon so you and your loved one mixed with God’s water, can be a glass of sweet refreshing lemonade to last all summer.
The beauty is when we have fulfilled “the needs” with Gods love we can be free in our relationship to enjoy “the wants” and love each other in a more pleasurable and light dimension that has room to grow and has less demon’s getting in the way of exalting God through and in our relationships.
